In the mid-16th century, they erected a magnificent Palazzo, in the Argentikon Estate, surrounded by orchards, rose gardens and flower-filled walking paths. From then onwards, every heir added a new mansion and the stamp of his era. The house stood the test of time, the ottoman period, the wars, even the earthquake of 1881. Nothing was adequate enough to destroy its beauty and gentility. Nowadays, after a complete restoration and renovation the Argentikon Estate relives, in all its splendor, as the Argentikon Luxury Suites.
The Gallant Villas: The Argentikon Palatial Estate consists of eight Luxury Suites, situated in five individual Villas, all with an exquisite view. Forty years after the earthquake of 1881 the Villas of the mansion were rebuilt with great care using the local reddish stone of Thymiana. Arched doors and windows, key characteristics of the medieval era, and the local technique of construction are combined with respect to the history, the environment, the art expressed by the high-walled mansions.
